Decks and Composites

We are an authorized installer for Trex decks. We also install all other quality composite decks. Composite decks are great for the homeowner who wants a maintenance-free deck that will last a lifetime. Keep in mind, while we only charge for actual materials used, composite decks are usually about 3 times more expensive than a traditional wood deck. For the more budget-minded homeowner, we can design and install a traditional pressure-treated wood deck and rail system. We prefer to use kiln-dried lumber for less shrinkage of your new deck. We always “overbuild” our decks to ensure that they will last for many years of enjoyment. A typical deck that we build will have 5/4 board decking, 2X10 joists on 12” centers, steel joist hangers, 6X6 posts in concrete, and a custom rail with 2” spindles on 4” centers, all built to local codes and specifications. Whether you have an existing deck you want replaced or if you need us to design a new deck, we will be happy to assist you in getting outdoors and entertaining friends and family!
